“Historical Limerick-Up Close and Personal” offers an intimate panoramic encounter with the riches of historical Limerick. The itinerary includes some of Limerick’s most famous historical locations including St Mary’s Cathedral, Hunt Museum, Sarsfield Bridge, Treaty Stone and King Johns Castle.
The walk lead by tour guide Gerry Moyler will convene at The Widows Almshouses near King John’s Castle Nicholas Street. It will proceed to St Mary’s Cathedral, St Mary’s Band Hall home of “McNamara’s Band”, Baal’s Bridge, the Custom House and Hunt Museum.
